Fire damages two-story home in Waukesha

WAUKESHA -- Fire severely damaged a two-story home on a busy street in Waukesha early Sunday morning, May 6th.The fire broke out around 3:30 a.m. Sunday at a home near 4th and Madison streets.The first firefighters on the scene found the building was fully engulfed in flames with heavy smoke coming out of the windows and roof.First responders say several people who were inside of the home made it to safety, but a pet dog did not survive.There's no word yet on the cause of the fire, but the fire department says it's not suspicious.

Police have new clues in search for enticement suspect

WAUKESHA -- Waukesha police say they have new clues that could help in the search for a suspect who attempted to entice a teenager girl into his vehicle.The 15-year-old  Waukesha South High School student was approached by the suspect in a vehicle near the intersection of Hoover and Garfield Ave.

Police investigate liquor and tobacco shop fire

WAUKESHA -- Police are investigating the cause of an overnight fire that broke out at a  liquor and tobacco shop on Broadway Street in Waukesha.Officials say the fire broke out around 10:30 p.m. Monday, April 23rd forcing crews to block off the road as they cleaned up the scene.There is no word on what started the fire or how much damage was done.Monitor FOX6 News and FOX6Now.com for updates on this developing story.

Sex offender to be released, live on Main St. in Waukesha

WAUKESHA -- Waukesha police officials announced Tuesday, April 10th a convicted sex offender is being released, after serving the prison sentence imposed on him by the courts.Chavez was convicted of having sex with a 14-year-old non-related female.

19 displaced after fire at Waukesha apartment complex

WAUKESHA -- 19 people in Waukesha were forced from their homes after a fire at their apartment complex Saturday, April 7th.The fire started at the apartment complex, located at 343 Coolidge Avenue around 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.  26 firefighters from all five Waukesha stations responded to the scene.
