GREENFIELD -- The Greenfield Police Department say a report of an attempted child enticement near 35th and Howard was all a "misunderstanding."Police first posted on Facebook Friday morning, October 9th that a man allegedly attempted to lure a young girl into his vehicle on Thursday afternoon.Greenfield police said in a Facebook post they have since located the subject and interviewed him extensively.

One person suffers minor injuries in crash involving vehicle, moped at Highway 100 & Beloit Road

GREENFIELD -- Greenfield police on Tuesday, August 4th were called out to a crash involving a vehicle and a motorized scooter (moped) near Highway 100 and Beloit Road.It happened around 4:30 p.m.Police say the operator of the motorized scooter (an adult man) was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.The circumstances surrounding this crash remain under investigation.Traffic wasn't affected by this crash, as officials were able to move the vehicles involved into a nearby parking lot.The female driver of the vehicle and the operator of the motorized scooter were the only people involved in this crash.Monitor FOX6 News and FOX6Now.com for updates on this story.

Accused of stalking, staring at girls at Greenfield Public Library, Robert Gidlund pleads not guilty

MILWAUKEE COUNTY (WITI) -- Facing two felony counts of stalking -- accused of following and then staring at girls at the Greenfield Public Library, 27-year-old Robert Gidlund has pleaded not guilty.Gidlund now has a scheduling conference set for December 17th.Police say Gidlund followed two teenage girls for weeks -- and he was even captured on camera peeping through a bookshelf at the Greenfield Public Library.“He admitted to watching these girls and stated he found them attractive,” Sgt.
