Officials ID 36-year-old man struck, killed by Metra passenger train in Kenosha

KENOSHA -- Kenosha police were called out to the scene of a fatal accident involving a train and a pedestrian on this Wednesday evening, October 7th.It happened on the train tracks east of Sheridan Road, and east of Simmons Field in Kenosha -- near the area of 7th Avenue between 78th and 79th Street.The train involved in the accident is a Metra train, and the incident occurred on Union Pacific tracks.The victim has been identified as 36-year-old Adam Richter of Kenosha.
