MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn joined FOX6 WakeUp Wednesday morning, November 26th to talk about the protests in Milwaukee and Ferguson following the grand jury decision in the Michael Brown case.In Ferguson on Monday, it was announced a grand jury has decided there is no probable cause to indict Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson in the August shooting of Michael Brown.That decision led to outrage and protests in Ferguson and across the country — including here in Milwaukee.The case out of Ferguson is similar to the case here in Milwaukee involving Dontre Hamilton. 31-year-old Hamilton was shot and killed in April by Milwaukee police officer Christopher Manney.

Milwaukee police investigate shooting near 35th & Wright

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Tuesday night, November 25th.It happened at approximately 6:30 p.m. near N. 35th and Wright.The victim, a 34-year-old male, sustained a graze wound and was treated and released from a local hospital.The motive for the shooting is unknown and there are no suspects in custody at this time.

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Flint Taylor with the People's Law Office in Chicago, and Milwaukee attorney Robin Shellow have planned a press conference scheduled for Tuesday morning, November 25th to discuss the current status of the Milwaukee Police Department body cavity search cases.In particular, it appears the press conference will focus on Michael Vagnini -- the former MPD officer sentenced to 26 months in prison for illegal strip and body cavity searches on dozens of drug suspects.Vagnini was sentenced in June 2013 on one misdemeanor charge of illegal body cavity search, three misdemeanor counts of illegal strip search, and four felony misconduct in office charges.In a statement to FOX6 News, Robin Shellow says the following items will be discussed during Tuesday's press conference -- scheduled for 9:45 a.m.:
