Police: Three shot in three separate shooting incidents; two seriously injured

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating three shootings that occurred Monday, December 29th.

The first occurred shortly after 9:30 p.m. in the 4300 block of W. Fond du Lac Avenue.

Police say a 24-year-old Milwaukee woman was confronted by a known suspect -- a 20-year-old woman, also of Milwaukee. The suspect shot the victim and fled the scene.

The victim was able to drive herself to a police station. From there, she was taken to the hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.

Police continue to search for the suspect.



The second shooting occurred shortly before noon in the 6800 block of W. Villard Avenue.

Police say a 35-year-old Milwaukee man was shot during an altercation with two suspects. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Police do not have a motive in this shooting, and no one is in custody.



The third shooting occurred near 11th and Atkinson around 3:00 p.m.

Police say an adult male sustained a gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries. His condition is unknown.

No one is in custody, and police do not have a motive for this shooting.
