Full freeway closure to impact May 18th concert at Miller Park

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has announced a full freeway closure of I-94 North-South - from 27th Street to College Avenue - which will take place from Friday evening, May 17 through Sunday morning, May 19.The scheduled closure will run through the Saturday, May 18 “Corona Light presents Kenny Chesney’s No Shoes Nation” concert at Miller Park.To better assist those attending the show, attached is an update which includes a map and detour routes.

Hundreds drop off old medicine at Miller Park

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Hundreds of cars packed the lot at Miller Park on Saturday, April 27th, to drop off old, expired, and unused medications."We're trying to get people's unused medicine out of people's cabinets," said Bill Graffin of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District.Cars lined up to drop off the old medicine.

Drinking on Opening Day? Have a designated driver

Brewers tweak entertainment for fans at Miller Park

(THE BUSINESS JOURNAL) -- The future of the popular Klement’s Racing Sausages at Milwaukee Brewers home games is secure even as the Brewers plan to roll out new entertainment features at Miller Park for 2013.Brewers management — to the surprise of no one — has decided to keep the Racing Sausages as featured entertainment at the ballpark, said Aleta Mercer, the Brewers vice president of entertainment and broadcastingMeanwhile, the Brewers plan to add another sing-a-long beyond the traditional “Take Me Out to the Ball Game,” Mercer said.

Snow removed from Miller Park lots, gearing up for Opening Day

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Dump trucks, end loaders and bob cats were swarming the parking lots at Miller Park on the first day of spring, Wednesday, March 20th -- and they will be for a few days.Poblocki Paving and Plowing has been contracted by Miller Park to clear a season's worth of snow in the parking lots.
