OMAHA, Nebraska — Henry Ellenson scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Marquette University beat Creighton 66-61 on Wednesday night, February 24th to split the season series.Jajuan Johnson added 15 points and nine rebounds, Duane Wilson had 14 points and Marquette (18-10, 7-8 Big East) made 10 of 12 free throws.Trailing by 10 at halftime, Creighton rallied from a 15-point deficit to within 53-52 on Isaiah Zierden's free throw while Marquette went over nine minutes without hitting a field goal.The Golden Eagles stayed ahead 56-53 on free throws by Wilson, but Zierden's 3 tied it at 56 with 4:17 left.Ellenson's jumper put Marquette up 62-58 with 41 seconds left, then Creighton's Maurice Watson Jr.

UW-Madison to raise minimum wage for student employees

MADISON — The University of Wisconsin-Madison is raising the minimum wage for student employees and the pay rate for graduate assistants.The school said in a news release Tuesday that the student hourly minimum wage is set to go up from $7.25 to $9 on Sept. 1.
