Milwaukee County Zoo mask policy changes June 1

As organizations across Wisconsin and the U.S. change their mask policies in light of updated CDC guidance, the Milwaukee County Zoo has followed suit.

Beginning June 1, the zoo announced, guests will not be required to wear masks outdoors. However, masks will be required inside all buildings for guests ages 3 and older.

Staff will continue to wear masks, the zoo said, where approprirate.

Milwaukee city facilities to reopen June 21, masks still required

Mayor Tom Barrett announced that Monday, June 21 will be the date for a reopening of Milwaukee City Hall and the other city buildings where the public interacts with municipal offices.

Humane Society welcoming rescue dogs from Texas

The Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) will welcome nearly 100 rescue dogs from Texas on Tuesday, June 1.
