24th and Burleigh shooting: Man arrested among 3 injured
MILWAUKEE - A 29-year-old man was arrested following an argument and double-shooting in Milwaukee on Wednesday afternoon, May 12.
Police said the incident unfolded near 24th Place and Burleigh around 3:10 p.m.
An 18-year-old woman was shot, and a 19-year-old woman was battered. Both women were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was also shot and sustained serious injuries. He, too, was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police said the incident is the result of an argument, and criminal charges against the man will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
Police went door-to-door, talking with neighbors about what they heard and saw.
