We will spend the day tracking a "Pneumonia Front" - a specific kind of backdoor cold front that will slide from NE to SW across our area this afternoon. Ahead of that front we get ample sun and warm into the upper 70s and low 80s. As the front passes we drop 10-20 degrees in just and hour or so which is how this front gets its nickname. We return to mostly sunny conditions Wednesday with more seasonal or slightly cooler than average on Wednesday before warming to the low to mid 70s Thursday. Our next chance for rain arrives Thursday night into Friday. The weekend is looking sunny and seasonal.

Highs today will be near 70 inland but stay in the 60s lakeside. We'll drop to near 50 overnight and only reach the 60s Saturday but the coolest day comes Sunday with highs in the 50s! We should dry up early next week as high pressure reasserts itself. Highs return to the low 70s Monday and Tuesday.
