Waukesha County officials are warning the public of a scam.

A 40-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested in Waukesha late Saturday, Sept. 17 for allegedly driving drunk – and officials say he had a child in his vehicle.

As of Sept. 5, the number of Waukesha County deputies assigned to specific districts was reduced to “new minimums,” with four deputies on first and second shifts and five overnight. During some day parts, it could be half the staff they had before.

The School District of Waukesha administration is considering the sale of two district buildings to Carroll University.

The "lead teacher" at a Waukesha child care center has been charged with abusing a child after a search warrant was executed Wednesday, Sept. 14.
