Police: Five juveniles arrested after fights at "Epic Student Ministries" building in Waukesha

WAUKESHA -- Waukesha police say five juveniles were arrested following fights at the "Epic Student Ministries" building during an event there Wednesday evening, April 13th.Police say there were 100-120 young people at the event.Police were on hand to monitor the event, along with several adult citizens.Around 8:00 p.m., one teenager apparently began picking fights with people.

Five Waukesha South H.S. students taken to hospital after car struck tree

WAUKESHA -- Waukesha police say five Waukesha South High School students were taken to the hospital from the scene of a crash that happened near Roberta Avenue and Sweetbriar Drive on Wednesday afternoon, April 6th.The crash happened around 12:30 p.m.Police say the vehicle the five teenage boys were in struck a tree.One of the five students in the vehicle had to be taken to the hospital via Flight for Life.

WAUKESHA -- The Waukesha Police Department issued a warning Tuesday, March 29th regarding an online scam.Police say in the last few weeks, two separate citizens of Waukesha were victimized by an online scam advertising puppies for sale in the Waukesha area.

Hartland mother charged with battery, disorderly conduct, allegedly over school's illness policy

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- 32-year-old Jessica Uriniuk of Hartland faces charges of misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct tied to an incident that happened in December 2015.According to the criminal complaint, Waukesha County deputies were dispatched around 8:45 a.m. on Monday, December 14, 2015 to the Pewaukee Lake Montessori Academy because of a "disturbance in progress."The complaint indicates Uriniuk had emailed the school the day before saying her child had been sick and had "thrown up all over the house." The email stated the child was not going to be able to attend a concert that was scheduled for the afternoon of December 13th.On the morning of December 14th, Uriniuk brought her child to school.

WAUKESHA -- A Waukesha Police Department squad car was struck in a crash involving three vehicles (including the squad) on Tuesday, March 15th.The crash happened near the intersection of Highway 164 and Racine Avenue.The officer whose squad was struck wasn't hurt.The squad was at the scene of a crash that happened around 4:15 p.m. involving two vehicles.The squad was struck around 4:45.One person suffered a minor injury in the second crash, involving the squad.Both incidents are under investigation.
