Police: Woman in custody after theft from Sports Authority, crash in Glendale

GLENDALE -- Glendale police say a woman is in custody -- accused of stealing from the Sports Authority store at Bayshore Town Center and then crashing her vehicle as she tried to flee.Officials with the North Shore Fire Department shut down Silver Spring Drive at Argyle in Glendale on Wednesday night, January 6th.We're told following the theft, the woman fled the Sports Authority store and headed west on Silver Spring Drive.Police received 911 calls from witnesses who indicated the woman was driving fast and erratically.Police say the woman crashed her vehicle into another vehicle at Silver Spring and Argyle.
