Former President George W. Bush repeated his criticism of the Republican Party, warning members the GOP will cease to exist if they choose to isolate themselves from other races and cultures.
Former President George W. Bush wrote in the name of his former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on his 2020 presidential ballot, he told PEOPLE magazine.
The former president said in an interview that he was “disgusted” as he watched the deadly Capitol riot unfold on Jan. 6, saying he’s “still disturbed.”
"I just talked to the President-elect of the United States, Joe Biden," Bush said in a statement. "I extended my warm congratulations and thanked him for the patriotic message he delivered last night."
