MPD: 17-year-old boy shot near 37th and Silver Spring

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating after a 17-year-old boy was shot near North 37th and Silver Spring Drive on Saturday, January 27th.The call to officials came around 3:30 p.m.According to police, the teen suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.Police are searching for suspects involved.

Man stabbed at Town of Burlington bar over game of pool; suspect in custody

TOWN OF BURLINGTON -- One man was taken to the hospital after he got stabbed at a bar in the Town of Burlington Friday night, January 26th.Deputies say they took a 911 call of a stabbing of a patron at the Countryside Pub around 9:15 p.m. When Racine County Sheriff Deputies made it to the scene, they found a 54-year-old man with a stab wound to his lower left side.

RACINE COUNTY -- A 25-year-old Chicago man is charged after a Racine County K-9 found marijuana in his vehicle Tuesday night, Jan. 23.Christian Olvera, 25, faces one count of possession with intent to deliver or manufacture THC, greater than 1,000 but less than 2,500 grams, second and subsequent offense.According to a criminal complaint, Olvera was stopped on I-94 at Mile Marker 333.2 in Racine County around 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 23.

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are seeking a suspect, 38, in connection with a sidewalk shootout, caught on camera in Milwaukee outside a bar near 23rd and State on Sept. 17, 2017.According to police, Dennis Simmons has been charged with first degree recklessly endangering safety and felon in possession of a firearm in Milwaukee County.He's described as a black man, standing 6’2” tall, weighing 190 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.Anyone with information is asked to call Milwaukee police at 414-935-7360.Police said Simmons’ accomplice, Riccardo Hicks, 27,  was arrested for the same crime on Jan. 23.
