MILWAUKEE- -- The Milwaukee Bucks suffered a disappointing 107-98 loss to the lowly Minnesota Timberwolves at the BMO Harris Bradley Center Wednesday night, but their magic number for reaching the playoffs was reduced to two when Charlotte beat Philadelphia.Milwaukee's defense was missing in action again, and they played from behind for most of the game.Ersan Ilyasova was a bright spot; he scored 27 of his game-high 29 points in the first three quarters; he added 12 rebounds.The Bucks travel to New York for Friday night's game against red-hot Carmelo Anthony (82 points last 2 games) and the rest of the Knicks.

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee Bucks scored 69 points in the first half on the way to a 131-102 route of the lowly Charlotte Bobcats Monday night in the BMO Harris Bradley Center.The 131 points were the most by a Milwaukee team since 2009.

ATLANTA -- The Bucks cut an 18 point deficit to start the 4th quarter to 4, but came up short in Atlanta, 98-90.Led by Brandon Jennings, who scored 19 of his 21 points in the second half, Milwaukee made things interesting; but Jennings missed a foul shot that would have brought coach Jim Boylan's team to within 3; then he came up short on a tough jump shot.The Bucks were hurt by thirty-seven percent shooting, along with the tag team of Jeff Teague and Al Horford, who combined for 53 points.Monta Ellis, who had been red hot, suffered through a 2-14 shooting performance; he finished with five points.

Bucks blaze trail beat Portland 102-95

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks held the Portland Trailblazers to a season-low eight points in the second quarter and held off the visitors, 102-95 Tuesday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.Brandon Jennings scored 24 points; Monta Ellis continued his excellent play by scoring 21 points to go with 9 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 blocks and 3 steals.Former Marquette star Wesley Matthews hit seven 3-pointers and notched 28 points for Portland; but the Blazers were outscored, 31-8 in that 2nd quarter; they missed 18 of 20 shots; Milwaukee led by 27 a t the break.Luc Mbah a Moute and Ersan Ilyasova sat out the game with injuries; both could miss Wednesday night's game in Atlanta.
