Parents: Check that Halloween candy over carefully! "Suspicious" Lemonheads discovered in Ohio

WAKEMAN, Ohio -- Police in Ohio are warning parents to check their children's Halloween candy very carefully -- after discovering suspicious Lemonheads candy handed out during Trick-or-Treating.A post on the Wakeman Police Department's Facebook page on Sunday, October 30th states that the suspicious candy was brought to the attention of police by concerned citizens -- and police are asking that police check over candy very carefully -- particularly Lemonheads.Wakeman police said there have been multiple instances of Lemonheads packages being opened slightly and the candy itself looking distorted.There are concerns that the candy may have been tampered with.

Massive recall: Halloween window clings sold at Target pose choking hazard

MILWAUKEE -- There is a massive recall involving Halloween decorations sold at Target stores.According to a release from the Consumer Products Safety Commission, about 127,000 "Halloween-themed LED gel clings" for windows are being recalled because the gel clings can separate and expose the inner decal and LED/button battery compartment, posing choking and button battery ingestion hazards to children.There are six different types of clings that are included in this recall: a green skeleton, pink skeleton, purple spider, black cat, orange pumpkin, and black bat.PHOTO GALLERYModel number 234-25-0904 is printed on the gel cling’s packaging.The clings come with two non-replacable button cell batteries that allow the clings to light up with a blinking light when you push them.

Survey: More than 50% think stores should remain CLOSED on Thanksgiving
