Police scene near 37th and Greenfield
MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee police arrested a suspect after an hours-long tactical situation Friday night on the city's south side.
What they're saying:
It began just before 7 p.m. in the area of 37th and Greenfield. MPD closed Greenfield Avenue in the area. The public was encouraged to use alternate routes and avoid the area.

Milwaukee woman's killing captured on video, family members charged
A Milwaukee teen is accused of killing his older sister, 30-year-old Ashley Hudson, during a dispute earlier this month. Hudson's sister and mother are also charged in connection to the case.
MPD said someone with a weapon entered a home, caused damage to the property and refused to leave. Officers contained the area, and the 52-year-old suspect eventually came out without further incident.
The 52-year-old suspect was arrested. Police will refer charges to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
