1 dead, 2 hurt in fiery Milwaukee crash
One person died in a crash and car fire Wednesday night near 19th and Hampton in Milwaukee.

One teenager is dead after a pursuit ended in a fiery crash in Milwaukee on Wednesday, Aug. 6.
What we know:
The Milwaukee Police Department said at around 7:17 p.m., officers noticed someone driving recklessly, and was wanted for a felony. MPD attempted to make a traffic stop near 19th and Hampton.
The driver refused and a vehicle pursuit ensued.

The pursuit ended when the driver struck a tree.
The driver and sole occupant of the fleeing vehicle, a 17-year-old, sustained fatal injuries, and was pronounced deceased at the crash location.

Two officers were transported to the hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries from the fire.
