Clinton launches 'Wisconsin Women for Hillary' group

MADISON — Hillary Clinton has announced a "Wisconsin Women for Hillary" coalition that includes a former Bernie Sanders supporter.

Clinton's campaign unveiled the group Wednesday. Its press release includes comments from longtime Clinton backers U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin and U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore. Also on board is former Lt. Gov. Barbara Lawton, who had backed Sanders before switching to Clinton when she won the nomination.

Clinton's campaign did not release a full list of coalition members and did not immediately respond to a request for all the names. Republican Donald Trump announced his own Wisconsin women's coalition last month.

Sue Lynch is a member of that group. She says in a statement put out by the Trump campaign that Clinton is not trustworthy and won't be supported in Wisconsin.
