Our stubborn low finally makes its exit today and after a few morning showers we dry up and clear up for the long term. Highs today will reach the low to mid 70s with sun for much of the afternoon. We stay dry and warm into the upper 70s and low 80s Wednesday and Thursday. We can expect mid 80s by Friday. A chance for showers and slight chance of thunderstorms returns by Saturday night.

A Flood Warning is in effect until 9am for parts of Milwaukee, Waukesha and Racine counties. A Flood Watch is in effect for most of SE WI until 1 p.m. The rain will taper off later today and tonight with area storm totals in the 3-9" range with some areas above that. We dry up for a long stretch after today and warm into upper 70s and low 80s.

Moderate to heavy rain will end around 4-5am but standing water is likely on roadways through the AM commute. Watch out for localized flooding. Some spots have picked up more than 7" of rain.

High pressure continues to dominate our area today giving us another sunny and warm day with highs in the low to mid 80s. A low and its associated cold front will move through our area late Saturday. Ahead of that front we warm into the low 80s but cool down and get wet as the system moves through.
