OAK CREEK -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is conducting a death investigation after a body was found in Oak Creek on Thursday, March 12.Authorities were notified around 6:30 p.m. of the body, found on the Oak Leaf Trail just east of Howell Avenue.

MILWAUKEE -- Kenneth Freeman, 28, of Milwaukee was ordered committed for life to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services Thursday, March 12 in connection with the Jan. 25, 2019 beating death of Carlie Beaudin at Froedtert Hospital.Freeman was committed following a court trial Thursday.

Driver crashes into 2 unoccupied vehicles while fleeing from police, 2 arrested

MILWAUKEE -- Two people were taken into custody Wednesday night, March 11 following a police pursuit and crash in Milwaukee.The pursuit began just before 7 p.m. in the area of 43rd Street and Thurston Avenue after officers attempted to stop a reckless driver.Officers activated their emergency lights and sirens in an attempt to stop the vehicle, however, the driver disregarded the officers’ lights and sirens and a pursuit ensued.The vehicle fled at a high rate of speed in a reckless manner.

Starbucks offering mental-health, financial resources to employees affected by coronavirus pandemic

SEATTLE -- Starbucks is trying to make sure its employees have the tools they need to cope not only with a new coronavirus but also the stress accompanying the pandemic.Workers at the coffeehouse chain will have access to mental-health resources and can be compensated for any scheduled shifts they miss because of the COVID-19 virus.Starbucks' Executive Vice President Rossann Williams wrote a letter to employees on March 11 that stated:
