Police: 28-year-old man shot, seriously injured at the intersection of 15th and Ring

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred late Tuesday night, June 25th.According to police, a 28-year-old man was shot at approximately 11:51 p.m. at the intersection of 15th and Ring.Police say the man was seriously injured.No additional details have been released -- including the circumstances surrounding the shooting or if any suspects are in custody.  

Police: 17-year-old injured following shooting near 36th & Lloyd

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police say one person was injured following a shooting near 36th and Lloyd on Tuesday night, June 24th.It happened around 8:30 p.m.Police say a 17-year-old was shot while walking down the street.The victim suffered what is believed to be non life-threatening injuries.Officials say the victim was initially not cooperative and the circumstances of the incident are still being investigated.No one is in custody.Monitor FOX6 News and FOX6Now.com for updates.

ARRESTED: Five teens taken into custody for involvement in armed robbery

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Five teenage suspects have been arrested for their involvement in an armed robbery that occurred on Milwaukee’s north side on June 22nd.According to officials, a witness called police at approximately 11:05 p.m. and reported a group of people robbing a victim at gunpoint in the 2300 block of N. 8th Street.The victim, a 27-year-old Milwaukee man, told police he was walking in the area when he heard numerous subjects running behind him.

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A reward is being offered for information in the shooting that occurred at the Sparkle Foods store near Hopkins and Keefe on Father's Day evening, June 15th. 11-year-old Makayla Criss was shot in the leg while shopping in the store, during an attempted armed robbery.

Police: 27-year-old man shot near N. 12th and Resevoir Avenue Sunday night

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police on Sunday, June 22nd were on the scene of a shooting near N. 12th Street and Resevoir Avenue.It happened around 8:30 p.m. Sunday.Police say a 27-year-old man was shot and injured.There is no word on his condition.Police do not have anyone in custody in connection with this shooting.

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- West Milwaukee police and Milwaukee police on Saturday night, June 21st were able to take a man into custody -- but not before an officer was forced to fire a shot at the suspect.It happened just after 11:00 p.m. in the 3900 block of Greenfield Avenue.Police received a report regarding an armed suspect.Police say the suspect was connected with a domestic violence incident -- and had returned, armed with a knife.Police responded to the scene and were able to observe the man, armed with a knife.Police say as an officer attempted to make contact with the man, the officer fired one shot.No one was injured.Police were able to take the man into custody for questioning.The investigation into this incident is ongoing.

Milwaukee police detective grazed by bullet, suspect now in custody

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A Milwaukee police detective was grazed by a bullet fired by a suspect armed with a semi-automatic handgun during an investigation near Teutonia and Villard on just after 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 19th.The detective, who was not injured, returned fire along with another detective.The suspect fled southbound on Teutonia, tossing his handgun on the front lawn of a home.

Doesn't appear to be criminal: Baby girl found dead inside home on S. 13th Street
