BROWN DEER (WITI) -- With several large retailers deciding to open their doors Thanksgiving night to get a jump-start on Black Friday, Menards held their ground on tradition and hoped to cash in on staying closed Thursday.The hardware giant joined dozens of other national retailers in bucking the trend of sliding Black Friday deals into Thanksgiving day."We are a family-owned company and they wanted us to spend time with our friends and family also," said General Manager Edward KorevecHundreds of people were waiting in line when store opened its doors at 6 a.m. Friday, November 29th.
