High School Blitz 2025: State championships (Nov. 21, 2025)

The 2025 Wisconsin high school football champions have been crowned. Arrowhead, Grafton, Mayville and Kenosha St. Joseph will bring trophies back to southeast Wisconsin.

The high school football season is officially over, and four teams from southeast Wisconsin added championship hardware to their trophy cases this week – including Arrowhead and Grafton, who won the Division 1 and Division 3 titles, respectively, on Friday.

Division 1: Arrowhead 18, Bay Port 15

What we know:

Arroehad faced defending champion Bay Port, and their defense came to play. An interception set up a Warhawks touchdown to get the game's scoring started.

It went back-and-forth in the second half. After a Bay Port touchdown, Arrowhead capitalized on a Pirates fumble to score again and regain the lead. Bay Port took the lead again with a touchdown and two-point conversion late in the fourth quarter.

Arrowhead wins the WIAA Division 1 state football championship

Arrowhead returned a squib kick 76 yards to the house to go up 18-15. And with a ance to tie the game, Bay Port instead went for the win – a final pass falling incomplete.

The win was Arrowhead's first state title in 12 years.

Division 3: Grafton 17, Reedsburg 15

What we know:

In Division 3, the Grafton Blackhawks had a state title on their minds after leaving Madison with a silver ball two years ago.

Grafton went up 14-7, but a late interception bit the Blackhawks. With 1:40 left in the game, Reedsburg punched in a one-yard score to make it a one-point game – and their two-point conversion game them a 15-14 edge.

Grafton wins the WIAA Division 3 state football championship

The Blackhawks got one last chance to respond. They converted a 4th and 7 to extend their final drive before booting a game-winning, 35-yard field goal – 17-15 the final.

It was Grafton's third state title in program history and their first in Division 3.

High School Blitz 2025: Mayville, Kenosha St. Joseph win titles

The 2025 WIAA high school football state championships kicked off on Thursday, Nov. 20, with Kenosha St. Joseph and Mayville winning their Division 7 and Division 5 games, respectively.
