We Energies Cookie Book giveaway at AmFam Field
Since 1928, Wisconsin families have turned to We Energies not just to keep their homes powered up, but to deliver delicious holiday cookie recipes as well. Alison Trouy joined FOX6 WakeUp from American Family Field where We Energies is giving out their new cookie book.
MILWAUKEE - It's a holiday tradition that dates back nearly a century. And now, it has officially returned for another season.
What you can do:
Distribution of this year's We Energies Cookie Book started on Saturday morning, Nov. 1. An event was held at American Family Field for people to get their hands on the latest and tastiest recipes.

Couldn't make it to American Family Field? No worries! There are plenty of distribution events in different communities in Wisconsin throughout November.
"We've been doing the We Energies family cookie book for 97 years at this point, so it's truly a family tradition," said We Energies' Alison Trouy. "Whether it's people remembering cooking with their grandparents, their parents, and now they're passing it onto their kids."
The backstory:
According to We Energies, the Cookie Book dates back to 1928. The book was used to promote electric appliances or baking, and they were produced every year until 1974.
It wasn't until 1984 that the Cookie Book returned, and editions followed in 1991, 1998 and 2002. It became an annual tradition again in 2006.
