Police: Two suffer serious injuries after they're shot in separate incidents Saturday night

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating two shootings that occurred on Saturday night, December 6th.

The first shooting occurred shortly before 9:30 p.m. in the 2400 block of N. 39th Street.

Police say a 44-year-old Milwaukee man was shot while inside a home. He suffered serious injuries, and was taken to the hospital for treatment. The circumstances surrounding this shooting remain under investigation.



Twenty minutes later, police were called out to the 2900 block of N. 11th Street.

Police say a 19-year-old man was shot while he was inside a vehicle by a known suspect who fired while standing on a corner. The victim was driven to the hospital where he was dropped off with a serious injury.

The known suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of officers. That suspect remains at large.
