MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a triple shooting that occurred near N. 14th Street and Finn Place on Wednesday evening, April 1st.

It happened shortly before 7:30 p.m.

Police say the shooting occurred during a dispute between two families. The victims are men -- ages 33, 40 and 54. Their injuries are believed to be non life-threatening. They were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police believe all three of the victims in this case know one another. A source tells FOX6 News they suffered injuries to their neck, back and thigh.

A man walking through the area called 911 after hearing several shots fired.

"I got in the middle of that block, and by the time I got over there across the street I heard the shooting, so I just ran.  I heard somebody say 'call the police, call the police,' so that's what I did," Anthony Speaks said.
