MPD called out to Hamilton High School for report of student with a gun; NO weapon found

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police say a Hamilton High School student was arrested on Wednesday, December 3rd following a report of a student with a gun.

Police were called out to the school around 3:30 p.m. after a staff member called police reporting a student may have a gun.

No weapon was found.

Police say school officials had been having trouble with the student who was later arrested all day.

A Milwaukee Public Schools spokesman tells FOX6 News the end of the school day was slightly altered as only limited movement was allowed in the hallways. School was dismissed less than five minutes later than normal on Wednesday.
