Milwaukee woman shot, wounded while inside her vehicle on city's north side

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that happened near 46th and Chambers around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21st.

The victim, a 26-year-old Milwaukee woman, was shot while inside a vehicle. She drove herself to a hospital where she is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police say it is unknown what circumstances lead to the shooting.
