Milwaukee shooting Friday; 2 wounded near 27th and Center

Two people were shot and wounded Friday on Milwaukee's north side.

What we know:

The shooting happened around 5:15 p.m. Police said the victims, a 25-year-old and a 22-year-old, were in a vehicle when they were shot.

MPD said the victims were assessed at the scene and taken to a hospital for treatment of non-fatal gunshot wounds.
