One person killed in Milwaukee stabbing

One man is dead after a stabbing near 18th and Hopkins in Milwaukee on Tuesday, March 4.

A 35-year-old man is dead after a stabbing on Milwaukee's northwest side on Tuesday.

Scene near 18th and Hopkins, Milwaukee

The Milwaukee Police Department said it happened around 5:35 p.m. near 18th and Hopkins on Tuesday, March 4.

The 35-year-old victim sustained fatal wounds and was pronounced deceased at the scene. A 62-year-old was arrested.

FOX6 News arrived at the scene around 6:30 p.m.

Family at the scene told FOX6 they are heartbroken. They said a father died at the location on Tuesday night.

The investigation is ongoing. Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
