    • Police say a vehicle was traveling eastbound on Howard Avenue and collided with a tree.
    • The driver suffered life-threatening injuries.

MILWAUKEE - A motorist suffered life-threatening injuries after crashing into a tree in Milwaukee early Monday morning, Jan. 27.

What we know:

It happened shortly before 2 a.m. near 22nd and Howard. 

Police say the driver was headed eastbound on W. Howard Avenue when they collided with a tree.

The driver, a 20-year-old, was taken to the hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
