Milwaukee crash involving car, motorcycle at 91st and Calumet

The Brief

    • A car hit a motorcycle on Milwaukee's northwest side Tuesday morning.
    • The motorcyclist was serious injured but is expected to survive.
    • The driver of the car that hit the motorcycle was cited, according to police.

MILWAUKEE - A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash on Milwaukee's far northwest side Tuesday morning, July 29.

What we know:

The crash happened shortly before 11:30 a.m. Police said the car was making a left turn and hit the motorcycle at 91st and Calumet.

FOX6 News at the scene found the car with visible front-end damage. The motorcycle was also visibly damaged on its side at the intersection.

The 49-year-old motorcyclist was taken to a hospital with serious but non-fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported.

Police cited the driver who hit the motorcycle.
