Customer injured after driver crashes into Chicago Red Hots store at 91st & Brown Deer

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police say a customer was injured at the Chicago Red Hots restaurant near 91st and Brown Deer Road Monday evening, January 19th after a van crashed into the front of the restaurant.

It happened around 1:15 p.m.

We're told the van's driver lost control and crashed into the store.

The customer who was struck was apparently inside the store, waiting for their food. The customer's injuries are said to be non life-threatening.

No citations have been issued against the driver.

A damage estimate hasn't been released.
