Crowds nearly overwhelm workers at Kansas mall
OVERLAND PARK, Kansas -- Many of you may have spent your Thanksgiving night relaxing with family and digesting that big meal. But for some people, that's when the real fun just began -- although it got a little crazy.
Dozens of screaming women crowded the entrance to the Victoria's Secret Pink store at a mall in Kansas before the clock struck midnight.
They were desperately fighting for the chance to get first dibs on the store's Black Friday shopping bargains.
Mall security guards held the frenetic mob, and the store's manager pleaded with people to stay calm. Eventually, they let the shoppers in to get their hands on the merchandise.
Luckily, no major incidents were reported at that store, or anywhere else at Oak Park Mall.
