CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Plane in air show crashes into hangar
MADRID (FOX) -- An air show in Madrid, Spain turned deadly over the weekend after a pilot lost control of his plane.
3,000 spectators were in Madrid to see the aerial acrobatic show at Cuatrovientos Airfield on Cinco de mayo. They watched in horror as the plane fell from the sky, crashed into a hangar and exploded into a ball of flames.
Witnesses say the victim 1950s aircraft dived after hitting power lines.
The 34-year-old pilot of the plane was killed in the crash. He's identified as Ladislao T.R., a commander who took part in operations in Libya.
