29-year-old Kenosha man arrested; accused of several armed robberies

KENOSHA -- Kenosha police have arrested a man that is believed to be responsible for several armed robberies that occurred in the Kenosha area throughout December, 2015 and January, 2016.

According to police, a 29-year-old Kenosha man was taken into custody on Tuesday, January 19th after an armed robbery occurred in Mount Pleasant involving a suspect brandishing a knife.

Kenosha has recently experienced a rash of robberies similar to the robbery in Mount Pleasant.

Friday, the 29-year-old Kenosha man was charged with five counts of armed robbery and five counts of bail jumping.
