MILWAUKEE -- A Milwaukee man who prosecutors say blackmailed a teen to perform sex acts on him in a police restroom will head to trial.Terrell Harris, 19, faces one count of child sexual exploitation, employ, use, induce by person under 18 years of age, and one count of child enticement, sexual contact.He was in court Thursday, Aug. 30 for his preliminary hearing, which he waived.

MILWAUKEE -- Two people were taken to the hospital after a motorcycle crash on the Hoan Bridge Thursday morning, Aug. 30.It happened in the northbound lanes shortly after 11 a.m., as a group was riding from the House of Harley to Veterans Park.The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office said one motorcycle slowed because of traffic, and was rear-ended by the motorcycle behind it, carrying two people.Both riders on the second motorcycle were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

MILWAUKEE -- Former Milwaukee Police Officer Dominique Heaggan-Brown has dropped his federal lawsuit against the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.Heaggan-Brown, who shot and killed Sylville Smith, sparking days of unrest in August of 2016, spent nearly 600 days in jail, awaiting trial in a sexual assault case.He claimed inmates threatened to kill him, he experienced inhumane conditions and denied medication.On Wednesday, Aug. 29, Heaggan-Brown submitted a handwritten note, dropping the suit because he didn't want to pay the $400 filing fee.
