MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office says a wrong-way drunken driver was arrested after he crashed his car and attempted to run from officers early Monday, October 7th.Deputies were dispatched to locate a wrong-way driver just after 2 a.m. Monday.

Franklin man arrested for allegedly driving drunk with kids in car

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee County Sheriff's deputies on Friday night, July 26th responded to a rollover crash on Highway 45 near Burleigh.Sheriff's officials say the car did a complete rollover, landing on its wheels on the freeway before ending up on the Burleigh Street off-ramp.The off-ramp was shut down for 30 minutes.One adult was taken to the hospital with a broken finger and a laceration, while two children inside the vehicle were taken to Children's Hospital with lacerations.

Bomb Squad detonates two grenades found in Caledonia

CALEDONIA (WITI) -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Bomb Squad was called to Caledonia on Tuesday, July 23rd to detonate two grenades found in a home in the 4200 block of County Highway H.Officers were notified about the grenades just after noon on Tuesday -- found by the family of a World War II Navy veteran who had passed away.The grenades were found in the drawer of a dresser that belonged to the man.The Milwaukee County Bomb Squad took the grenades behind the house and buried them in the ground before detonating them.The area where the grenades were found is a rural area.Sheriff's officials say if people discover these types of devices in their homes, they should immediately contact the Bomb Squad.
