MILWAUKEE -- The Admirals power-play went scoreless in seven tries as they dropped a 5-1 decision to the Grand Rapids Griffins in the regular season finale at Panther Arena on Saturday night.The Ads now need to wait until the conclusion of the Chicago-Iowa game to find out their first round playoff opponent.The Griffins got on the board with a 5-on-3 goal by Mitch Callahan with 4:14 to play in the first period.However, Tyler Moy tied the score up with his first pro goal with just 53 seconds left in the frame.

Admirals top IceHogs with 6-2 win

Six different players found the back of the net to help guide the Admirals to a 6-2 win over the Rockford IceHogs on Friday night in the second to last game of the 2016-17 regular season.Petter Granberg (2a), Trevor Smith (1g-1a), Tyler Moy (2a) and Justin Kirkland (1g-1a) all tallied multi-point nights, while Samuel Girard scored his first professional goal.While the Admirals earned the win, the still don't know who they will face in the first round of the Calder Cup Playoffs.

MILWAUKEE -- Marek Mazanec was impressive in net for the Admirals, stopping 28 of 29 shots that Cleveland threw his way, but Anton Forsberg was even better stopping all 27 Milwaukee shots as the Monsters stopped the Ads 1-0 on Friday night at Panther Arena.It was the fifth time that the Admirals have been shutout this season and the third on home ice.The only goal of the contest game with 4:15 to go in the second when Zac Dalpe cleaned up a loose puck in front and pushed it by Mazanec.Milwaukee had a number of good chances in the final period, but they couldn't convert on two power-play chances or 1:30 of 6-on-5 time with Mazanec pulled in favor of an extra attacker.The loss kept the Admirals in third place in the Central Division, four points behind second-place Chicago with five games to play in the regular season.The Admirals get back at it on Saturday night when they play host to the Rockford IceHogs at 6 pm, followed by a concert by country music stars Dan+Say in FM106/Coors Light Country Music Night II.
