MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Our recent reprieve from bitterly cold temperatures means more people are heading back out onto Lake Michigan and other bodies of water.

One person rescued after car ends up in Lake Michigan near Village of Belgium

OZAUKEE COUNTY (WITI) -- The Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office is investigating an incident in which a car ended up in Lake Michigan off County Highway D near the Village of Belgium.It happened shortly after 5:30 p.m.The Belgium Fire Department, Port Washington Fire Department, and the Fredonia Marshal were on scene.We're told one person was rescued from the vehicle.
