Police: Body of deceased male pulled from Lake Michigan Monday afternoon

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police say the body of a deceased male was pulled from Lake Michigan on Monday afternoon, October 6th.The body was recovered about a mile east/northeast from McKinley Marina just after noon on Monday.Police say the man's body was spotted by a boater in the area.Milwaukee Police Department's Harbor Patrol assisted in recovering the body.The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office is investigating the man's death.Police tell FOX6 News foul play is not suspected in this case.Monitor FOX6 News and FOX6Now.com for updates.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Lake Michigan's ice cover has set a record.The federal government's Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory in Ann Arbor reports that ice spread across 93.29 percent of the lake's surface area on Saturday.

Strong winds, warmer temps broke down Lake Michigan ice

Human remains pulled from Lake Michigan near Blue Harbor Resort

SHEBOYGAN COUNTY (WITI) -- Sheboygan County Sheriff's officials say human remains were recovered from Lake Michigan on Monday morning, July 15th.A recreational boater reportedly spotted the body about one mile off-shore, east of Blue Harbor Resort.The remains were recovered with the assistance of the Sheboygan County Dive/Rescue Team and taken to shore.Both the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office's Water Safety Unit and Dive Team were on Lake Michigan, performing training operations at the time of the incident.The remains have not yet been identified.
