Waukesha high schools; weekend celebrations at South, North
WAUKESHA, Wis. - It is a big weekend for two Waukesha high schools.
Celebrating athletics
What we know:
Years before she set down a path to become a Waukesha County judge, Jennifer Dorow was on a different kind of track.
Dorow will be inducted into the Waukesha South Wall of Fame on Friday evening, Jan. 17. She presided over several high-profile cases in recent years – including the Waukesha Christmas parade attack.

Dorow graduated from Waukesha South in 1988. She was a track and field athlete and won the 100-meter hurdle state championship that year – setting a high school record that stood for 22 years.
What they're saying:
"I just remember there were teachers who shaped me. There were friendships that I made and certainly track and field was something that fit with my personality. I’ve always been proud to say I’m a Blackshirt," Dorow said.

What we know:
There is a day-long celebration on Saturday, Jan. 18 at Waukesha North High School. It was 50 years ago this month the school opened its doors for the first time.
