Washington County head-on crash; 1 taken by Flight For Life

Three people were hurt following a two-vehicle crash in Washington County on Sunday, Feb. 9. It happened around 8 p.m. on Hwy 33 west of Hwy 175 in the Town of Addison.

What we know:

When officials arrived at the scene, they located four people. Additional ambulances were requested from West Bend Fire and Rescue. 

One of the patients was found to have more severe injuries and Flight For Life was requested to the scene. Two other patients were transported via ambulance to the hospital and the fourth did not require medical attention.

The investigation revealed that an eastbound vehicle crossed into the westbound lanes, striking the westbound vehicle head-on in its lane. 

Hwy 33 was shut down between Hwy 175 and CTY Tk U for approximately two hours for rescue operations and to clear the scene.

Impairment was a factor in this crash, and this investigation is ongoing.
