Was Tony Soprano killed at the end of "The Sopranos?" We finally have an answer!

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Seven years after the mysterious finale of the hit series "The Sopranos," the show's creator, David Chase is finally revealing whether mob boss Tony Sporano was killed at the end when the screen suddenly went black.

If you recall, in the finale episode of the award-winning HBO series, Tony, Carmela, A.J. and Meadow were all gathering at a local diner after everything was seemingly patched up between the New York and New Jersey mob families.

But a couple of folks in the diner and others walking in looked like they might be potential hit men.

As tensions built, Meadow — after trying to parallel park repeatedly — finally entered the diner and the bell on the door rang. Tony looked up and … everything went to black.

The end.

So what happened?!

Chase reportedly finally gave an answer as to the status of Tony Soprano in an interview posted Wednesday on Vox.
