Walker talks jobs, economy at Rotary Club Tuesday

MILWAUKEE -- Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker spoke to members of the Rotary Club in Milwaukee Tuesday - talking jobs and the economy.

While Walker's focus in his speech Tuesday was on getting more people working in the state, he also focused on putting military veterans to work.

Monday, Walker signed legislation that will help veterans become professionally licensed.

"Where they've gotten skills that are the equivalent of what it would take to be a licensed professional in the state of Wisconsin in that profession. We are going to bypass the normal process, and give them the license and go right back to work," Walker said.

Governor Walker also mentioned he would like to see more tax breaks for small businesses and people trying to start up small businesses.
