UW-Madison police horse welcomes foal: 'Spring surprise!'

MADISON, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-Madison Police Department was delighted to discover a new foal joining their family this spring.
After giving birth to baby Puck, police horse Vetter is doing well, the department said in a tweet. In order to take care of her foal, Vetter is taking a 12-week leave of absence.
