Hundreds found their way to Bradford Beach in Milwaukee to take part in the New Year's Day polar plunge.

The tradition stands. Hundreds of people turned out at Milwaukee's Bradford Beach on Friday, Jan. 1 to take part in the annual Polar Bear Plunge.

The hardy ones that showed up got down to their swim gear -- and ran or waded into rather wavy conditions on the shore of Lake Michigan.
