Losing a child
Local perspective:
Family members say the boy’s name is Antonio.
They say he loved the library and being with family. Now, they're in disbelief knowing he's gone.
"He was very scared of water. He had anxiety from the water. Him just playing with kids and jumping in, he knew he couldn’t swim. He probably was just trying to enjoy himself and trying to be like every kid that wanted to be out there," said Latricia Trotter. "This day, it will never be the same. A mom lost her son today."

Challenges in this search
What they're saying:
The search for the teen was especially difficult, according to Fire Chief Montellano.
"There's a lot of debris. A lot of obstacles. Our divers last night were getting entangled," Montellano said. "We use sonar, we had underwater sonar. We had above surface sonar. We had K-9 units out. So we use every means at our disposal. So when you're searching an area, you're, you're trying to get from large to small, right."
