She "yells at us:" Group of fourth-graders accused of plotting to kill teacher using antibacterial products

NEW YORK (WITI) -- A group of fourth-grade students are accused of plotting to kill their teacher using antibacterial products -- products their teacher is highly allergic to. WGRZ in Buffalo, New York reports concerned parents and a school board member foiled the plan.

A police report shows three Elba Elementary School students were involved in the alleged incident that occurred in December 2014 -- before winter break. The report says the suspects allegedly made comments to other students about their plan to kill the teacher by putting antibacterial products around the classroom.

WGRZ reports a school board member contacted police after hearing of the plan from other parents and her son.

Police spoke with the students in question, and one said her teacher "yells at us, and the class has problems with her."

WGRZ reports the school decided it will handle the case, so police are no longer involved.

A motive is unclear, but the police report indicated alleged bullying in the classroom, and police were told that this particular class of fourth-graders had problems working together, according to WGRZ.
